What Your Child Needs for Immunity and Optimal Learning

Updated: Nov 8, 2022

Does your child get sick more often making him miss most of his school year? Does he suffer from chronic allergies or asthma?

Does he suffer from mood swings and learning challenges?

Studies show that kids with inadequate nutrient intake perform poorly in school and tend to be more sickly.

Unfortunately, according to the research by the Division of Adolescent and School Health (DASH), the percentage of young people who eat breakfast decreases with age. Meaning that while 92% of children ages 6-11 eat breakfast, only 77% of adolescents ages 12-19 eat breakfast.

This behavior negatively impacts children's immune system, cognitive health, and overall physical development as children who miss breakfast do not make up for lost nutrients later in the day. Nutrients that they often lose in school.

The research also show that only 39% of children ages 2-17 meet the USDA's dietary recommendation for fiber, and less than 40% of children and adolescents in the United States meet the U.S. dietary guidelines for saturated fat.

School is many things—a place where kids learn and grow cognitively, develop social skills, and become independent individuals.

But it can also be a place where they pick up germs and illnesses which could negatively affect their academic performances.

Everyone wants their kids to perform their best in school, unfortunately, today's schools often have lunchrooms filled with poor food choices and too little physical education time or sports activities which were not helping at all to meet their nutritional needs.

While we all like to think that we can provide a complete and nutritiously rounded diet to our children every day and that they actually eat it, the reality is, most children and adults are not getting the complete nutrition they need.

Giving your child a multivitamin can help him complete his nutritional needs which could help them prevent getting sick more often, suffering poor concentration, terrible mood swings, or asthma.

While many parents are giving vitamins to their children in today's world, it is important to know exactly what is in what you give your children.

There are a lot of dangerous products on the market that are not what they say they are or are full of artificial fillers, preservatives, flavorings and coloring that can actually make your child sick. Yikes!

Shaklee actually has the basic nutrients for your child's immune system and optimal learning and it's guaranteed that their children's vitamins are some of the safest products available on the market.

They are always safe, always green and always works.

Their products are gluten free and contain no artificial flavors, sweeteners or added preservatives. The recyclable packaging is even safe and free of bisphenol-A, phthalates, and toxic inks so you can be a hundred percent sure that.

"Shaklee's supplements helped my kids to get better from their allergies and seasonal asthma!" Before Shaklee, both my kids Lauren and Christian almost missed 10 - 12 days of school per year. They suffered from bad allergies and seasonal asthma which made them used inhalers and nebulizers. They're also required to have numerous trips to doctor a year which always resulted in prescription medications. Vita-lea, Optiflora Probiotics, Energizing Soy Protein and few other supplements from Shaklee helped my kids to get better from their allergies and seasonal asthma. Now, both my kids have perfect attendance because of their improved immunity! Lauren is an "A" student and Christian even made it to middle school basketball team! - Lauren Johnson, Mom

The reality is, kids get sick – but you can help them get healthier and perform their best in school.

Keep their diet as close to nature as possible, start the day with complete healthy breakfast, stay away from sugar and artificial sweeteners, and select an effective supplement program for stronger immune system, cognitive health, and overall physical development.
